Vermont Golf CoursesVermont Golf Courses. Vermont has more golf courses per capita than any other state in the country. Lush fairways, incredible views and dramatic elevation changes await you on a variety of unique mountain layouts. Several championship courses are within a 30-minute drive of the hotel, including.
  • Okemo Valley Golf Course (Ludlow, Vermont)
Featuring bent grass greens, tees and fairways, Okemo Valley’s par 70, 18-hole championship course is New England’s first and only heath land-style course. One-of-a-kind fairways are filled with dips, ripples, rolls and hollows, which invite fresh mountain breezes. Greens are sculpted to reward your short game. Put all this against the backdrop of Vermont’s dazzling Green Mountains for an unforgettable golf experience. For tee times and information, call 802-228-1396.
  • Proctor-Pittsford Country Club (Proctor, Vermont)
This challenging, semi-private 18-hole course features small, well-bunkered greens that are both sloped and undulating-and generally fast. The fairways are narrow and some are tree lined. Water hazards come into play on six holes. This course was built on hilly terrain so there will be a lot of uneven lies. For tee times and information, call 802-483-9379.
  • Woodstock country club (Woodstock, Vermont)
"One of the Top 100 Golf Courses in the World" by Golfer Magazine, this 6,000 yard, 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed layout with water at over a dozen holes presents a formidable challenge to even the most seasoned player. For tee times and information, call 802-457-6674.
  • Green Mountain National (Killington, Vermont)
What separates this 18-hole public course from others is its unique design features. Every hole is an entity unto itself. Generously carved out of the Green Mountains, the course offers solitude and a private golf experience that will challenge players of all abilities. For tee times and information, call 802-422-4653.
  • Windham Golf Club at Tater Hill (Chester, Vermont)
Located just east of the Magic Mountain Ski Resort, Windham Golf Club was formerly a nine-hole golf course called the Tater Hill Resort. The loop was on the long side and the golf was of moderately high difficulty-unusual for a nine-hole course. In the mid-nineties, the club decided to expand to eighteen holes. For tee times and information, call 802-875-2517.
  • Crown Point Country Club (Springfield, Vermont)
A hidden gem in the mountains, Crown Point looks deceptively easy, but even those who have played the course many times before still find challenges with every round. Whether you come to play a round of golf, take a lesson from our pro staff or just enjoy the view from the clubhouse over lunch or dinner, you are sure to enjoy your stay. For tee times and information, visit 802-885-1010.  [Top]
Vermont Mountain Biking. There are several mountain biking opportunities available in the Green Mountain National Forest. Non-motorized off-road vehicles, such as mountain bikes, are limited to Forest Service Roads open to vehicular travel and only trails specifically signed open to mountain bikes.
